Connie Palmen

Connie Palmen is a novelist from The Netherlands.

Among her novels are the 1991 novel De wetten (published in the USA in 1993 as The Laws), translated by Richard Huijing. For this novel she was shortlisted for the 1996 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award.

Another of her novels is De vriendschap (published in the USA as The Friendship in 2000), translated by Ina Rilke.

She had a long relationship with the late Ischa Meijer.
