Connaught Road West

Connaught Road West (干諾道西) is a road in Sheung Wan and Sai Ying Pun which runs beneath an elevated highway (Connaught Road West Flyover, Route 4). It takes the main thoroughfare towards the west for those travelling both to the Kennedy Town and Pok Fu Lam areas, and for those continuing to Kowloon-side via the Western Harbour Tunnel.

Rice wholesellers gather on Connaught Road West owing to its proximity to the shore, which was lined with many piers in the past.
