Confusions

Confusions is play written in 1974 by Alan Ayckbourn, consisting of five interlinked one act plays, Mother Figure, Drinking Companion, Between Mouthfuls, Gosforth's Féte and A Talk in The Park. It was first presented in the Library Theatre in Scarborough, and was mounted by Micheal Codron at the Apollo Theatre in London in 1976. The Apollo Theatre production featured Derek Fowlds, John Alderton and Pauline Collins.

The action takes place in the present in the following settings respectively: a living room, a bar, a restaurant, a marquee and a park.
