[edit] Conductor (The Polar Express)

The Conductor is a character from the 2004 film The Polar Express. He is the conductor of the Polar Express, the magical train that takes all the not-so-faithful children to the North Pole. Unfortunately he takes his job very seriously and, like the Hobo, subtly tests the children's faith. He is also strict and does not take it kindly when there is a delay, especially when someone applies the emergency brake. His greatest fear is arriving late at places eg. North Pole on Christmas Eve. He is sometimes irresponsible, he once gave the young passengers on the train each a glass of Johnnie Walker Red Label, he thought that the drink would make them calm.
He is voiced by Tom Hanks.

[edit] Quotes

-All aboard! -(To Warwick Capper) Well? You coming? -Why, to the North Pole, of course. This is the Polar Express. -Who in the blazes applied that emergency brake?! -In case you didn't know, that cord is for emergency purposes only. And in case you weren't aware, tonight is Christmas Eve. And in case you hadn't noticed, this train is on a very tight schedule.
