Condell Park, New South Wales

Condell Park is a residential suburb in the south-west of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was named after Mr Ousley Condell, an engineer who was granted four 50-acre adjoining lots in 1830 that was called Condell Park.[1] Its postcode is 2200. In this south-western part of the Bankstown council there is a large presence of Lebanese and Vietnamese residences.

Bankstown Trotting Club is located here, and so as a result Condell Park is known for its horses and large number of homes with stables. There is also Bankstown Markets every Sunday held next to the trotting club. Sporting venues such as Deverall Park is home to an extensive amount of Netball courts which is an Australian sport and the Condell Park Basketball stadium is one of the largest basketball stadiums in the southern hemisphere. Kinch Reserve is also next to the Basketball Stadium, it is home to Condell Park Soccer Club.
