Concours international de roses nouvelles de Bagatelle

The Concours international de roses nouvelles de Bagatelle is an international competition for new roses held in June of each year at the gardens of the Château de Bagatelle in Paris, France. Organized in 1907 by Jean-Claude Nicolas Forestier, the Commissioner of Gardens for the city of Paris, the first competition involved 148 new roses presented by 27 French breeders and 31 other breeders from around the world.

The most important prize is the Gold Medal, for many years the symbol of the finest rose in Europe.
