"Concerning Hobbits" is a piece by composer Howard Shore for The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack. It is the main theme music for the Shire and the Hobbits, and intended to invoke feelings of peace.

One of the chief tracks of the entire trilogy, it is also one of the happiest tracks, with others invoking feelings of pain, adventure, or evil, particularily the Lord of the Rings Medley.

A remix of the song was made available, titled "They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard". It can be found here. An excerpt of the Lord of the Rings Medley is present.
