I added the 'limited geographic scope' tag because of the focus of the main paragraph in the 'Military' section. I'm guessing 'bird- or star-grade commissioned officers' and 'sitreps and progreps' are a US military concept? This section doesn't adequately describe command centers elsewhere. --David Edgar 08:05, 20 October 2005 (UTC)

"bird-" and "star-grade" officers are US officers holding the rank of colonel or above (their insignia are eagles or stars), so yes that example is limited to US military application. "Sitreps and progreps" are military shorthand for situation reports and progress reports and are not limited to US military concepts. Nonetheless, the stub does need to be expanded for other relevant applications of command centres. --Scottie theNerd 16:31, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

While the tag may apply to the military section, the blurb about command centers in general did not sound specified. In fact, if it got any less specific, I wouldn't be able to tell what it was talking about to begin with, had it no title. I'd say remove the tag. -Chewbacca 04:38, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
