Comunanza is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ascoli Piceno in the Italian region Marche, located about 70 km south of Ancona and about 20 km northwest of Ascoli Piceno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,176 and an area of 54.0 km².^[1]

Comunanza borders the following municipalities: Amandola, Force, Montefalcone Appennino, Montefortino, Montegallo, Montemonaco, Palmiano, Roccafluvione.
