Computer Literacy Bookstore

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The first Computer Literacy bookstore opened near Lakeside Drive and Titan Way in Sunnyvale, California. It was located in the heart of Silicon Valley, not far from the original Fry's Electronics store. The company expanded to several additional bricks-and-mortar stores and, in 1999, it morphed into Fatbrain.com (NASDAQ FATB) as part of the dot-com revolution. It was subsequently acquired and absorbed by Barnes & Noble, the large bookstore chain. The physical stores were finally closed in December 1, 2001.
