Compucards

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Compucards was a computer-themed deck of playing cards with special card games designed by entrepreneur Sam Pitroda in 1983. The cards used binary values (1, 2, 4, 8...) instead of decimal and had a computer bug instead of the standard joker. The standard King was replaced with a Programmer that bore an uncanny resemblance to Mr. Pitroda himself. The booklet that accompanied the deck explained how to play games such as Poker and Blackjack with the Compucards.
