Completist
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A completist is a collector who specifically tries to assemble a complete collection of something, owning one sample of each possible item in the collection.[1]
For instance, a music collector might try to collect every version of every song (including singles, remixes, and live versions) ever recorded and released by The White Stripes. Some comic book collectors attempt to buy every issue of a series or every issue in which a specific character makes an appearance.
Upon completing a particular collection, a completist may stop collecting, expand the collection to include related items, or begin an entirely new collection.
