Community Food Security Coalition

The Community Food Security Coalition is a North American non-profit dedicated to the growth of urban agriculture for health, social, and environmental reasons. The organization works as a support tool for people working on community gardens. It is composed of 325 member organizations throughout the United States and Canada. The organization encourages a system for food sovereignty which brings North Americans back to the land. It does this through an approach of policy advocacy, education and networking, and training for farmers. Additionally the Community Food Security Coalition is a leading advocate for farm to cafeteria programs.
