Communist League (Austria)

The Communist League (de: Kommunistischer Bund Österreichs), was a pro-China communist group in Austria. The KB was founded in 1976.

The first congress of KB was held in January 1978. Walter Lindner was reelected as the Central Committee Secretary.

KB published the Klassenkampf (weekly) and the Kommunist (monthly).

KB strongly opposed the Soviet Union, denouncing it as "social-imperialist". The KB organized rallies outside the Soviet embassy in Vienna.

In 1980 KB split into two factions, which both continued to use the name KB.
