Limanda limanda (Linnaeus, 1758) |
The common dab is an edible flatfish in the genus Limanda. Like other flatfishes, it has both eyes on the same side of the head. It is usually under 30 cm long and under 1 kg in weight. It lives on sandy seabeds. It is most common in the North Sea.
