Commander Appo

Commander Appo is a character in the Star Wars fictional universe. He was a clone commander stationed on the Coruscant in Revenge of the Sith. He commanded the 501st Legion (later named as "Vader's Fist"), who wore distinctive blue markings. Under the orders of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine/Darth Sidious, he and his troops attack the Jedi temple with Darth Vader during the Great Jedi Purge, killing all of the Jedi. Appo was then confronted by Senator Bail Organa, who wanted to know what was going on. Before Bail could leave, a 10 year old Jedi named Zett Jukassa tried to escape, wounding Appo and killing many of his troopers, before succumbing to their gunfire. Overall though, he was a pretty decent guy.
