An extremely important World War II site, most coverage goes to the Warsaw Ghetto, as it was the largest. Kraków however is the setting for most of Schindlers List, poignantly where Oskar Schindler witnessed Amon Göth round up the inhabitants of the ghetto, raze it, and force everyone into Plaszow.

- Although maybe the article should be titled Podgórze, which was the location used by the Nazis across the Wisła, where the ghetto was created and JEws moved from Kazmierz. Proto t c 13:37, 11 August 2005 (UTC)
