[edit] Beliefs

I interact with a wide variety of people, and believe that almost everyone has something positive we can learn from. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, and while I recognise that no denomination, institution, or individual (that includes you - and me!) is perfect, I do believe that community is essential. Hence I am a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and have benefited greatly from being a part of this community since 2000.

[edit] Respect

  • Jesus Christ for saving us from separation from God both now and eternally. I believe that Jesus is the clearest image we have of God's love and character.
  • Chinese believer Brother Yun for the fire and simplicity of his faith as described in his bestselling book The Heavenly Man, and for his passion for sharing the gospel.
  • Christian author John Eldredge for his controversial book Wild at Heart, which addresses the almost forgotten concept of masculinity.

  • StormCo (community service in Aboriginal and other communities)

[edit] Contributions

So far I have been mainly contributing to articles related to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, although I have contributed to other pages as well. My "pet" page is prophetic gift of Ellen White, to which I have been almost sole contributor so far. I would appreciate input from other editors. I have gathered masses of resources - the challenge now is to improve the clarity and flow of the page, to integrate more Ellen White quotes, and to keep striving towards NPOV.
