Talk:Colonial heads of Gabon

Colonial heads? That's a seriously lame title. Also, shouldn't all these lists be at List of Colonial Leaders of Gabon, or whatever, rather than Colonial Heads of Gabon? john k 08:09, 1 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Hi John - I agree, but generic headings are always likely to be more lame than specific ones, but are less subject to change from time-to-time and state-to-state, and the inclusion of generics enables the introduction of a level consistency. My choice of 'Heads' over 'Leaders' was a tough one - as they sound equally lame. As for Lists of, I considered that the plural Heads of ... implied that the article at least included a listing without actually stating it in the title and eliminating the repetition of the words 'List of' this and 'List of' that etc.
- I value your input and do take your views into consideration - and if you feel strongly about this I will implement the changes you suggest (as long as others are OK with it). --JohnArmagh 08:30, 1 Nov 2004 (UTC)
