I added a sentence saying that MSU held the game in Spartan Stadium instead of the much small Munn Ice Arena. Lovelac7 20:14, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

More children play hockey in Michigan than any other state, and at the time the Detroit Red Wings were enjoying huge successes, therefore there was certainly buzz in the state for a large hockey game. Secondly, MSU and UM are archrivals and share a state. Third, nothing on this scale had ever been attempted before and there certainly was demand for tickets to experience the game. Lastly, MSU has just come off winning the national title in hockey the previous year and was ranked #1, UM was ranked #4. 141.217.221.212 06:02, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

I think it would look better if the the two tables were the same size, appearance.

hey, also i dont know where to put this, but the article states it was wayne gretzky's last professional hockey game. this is untrue. he was not playing for edmonton or montreal at this point, and took part only as an exhibition game played before.
