This photograph highlights the triple-decker nature of Columbus Drive in Chicago. The lights illuminating the middle level can be clearly seen. On the left (southern) part of the street, a ramp to carry traffic from the service level up to the middle (lower) level is visible. The partially-seen white-and-black building on the left is the Aon Center; the light brown one to its right is the Fairmont Hotel. The construction in the foreground is for the Lakeshore East development.
I, Knowledge Seeker, took this photograph on March 5, 2005. It was taekn from the Lakeshore East development. The view faces west.
