Columbus Tower will, if approved, be built in the borough of Tower Hamlets, London.

- The proposed scheme will comprise: 30,085 m² of office space, a 192-room hotel, 74 hotel suites, a rooftop bar and restaurant, a health and fitness club, 2,246 m² of retail and a publicly-accessible Winter Garden at the base.

- If built, the crown of Columbus Tower would stand a mere 233 metres below, and 54 metres south, of the glidescope for aircraft coming in to land at the London City Airport's east runway.

- The design is influenced, in part, by the naval history of the area.

-The death of the main investor has led to this proposal being put on hold.
