[edit] Location

Columbia Station is located underground near the corner of 4th Street and Carnarvon Street in New Westminster. The street it is named after is located one block south.

[edit] History

Columbia Station was built in 1989 as a temporary terminus of the first extension of the Expo Line before it would be extended to Scott Road the following year, after the completion of the Skybridge.

The station itself is located underground in the centre of New Westminster, and since 2002, has been used as the major transfer point between the Expo Line and the Millennium Line.

[edit] Services

As already noted, Columbia Station is a major transfer point for riders on both the Expo Line and the Millennium Line. It also connects to a number of bus routes servicing the New Westminster area.
