Colton Orr is a North American ice hockey player. He was born on March 3, 1982 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and is of no relation to Hall of Fame defenseman Bobby Orr. Orr was not drafted by an NHL team and signed as a free agent with the Boston Bruins. He now plays for the New York Rangers, as he was claimed on waivers by them in November, 2005.
Orr is a tough, aggressive player who is not afraid to drop the gloves. He has provided the Rangers with toughness and is always willing to stand up for his teammates.
