Colorado Bend State Park

Colorado Bend State Park is a 5328.3 acres (22 km²) Texas state park in the Hill Country region. It was purchased in 1984 and opened to public in 1987.

The Spicewood Springs trail is the longest foot-traffic-only hiking trail in the park with numerous river crossings. The Gorman Creek trail is divided into a blue-marker loop and a yellow-marker loop. All trails are open from dawn to dusk.

A large part of the park is open by guided tour only. The Gorman Spring and a couple of other springs feed the Gorman Creek, which carves out many caves in this limestone country, and then descends in a spectacular 60 feet (18 m) high Gorman Fall. The Gorman Fall tour is a 1.2 mile (1.9 km) trail leading to this wonderful Gorman Fall. The self-guided Gorman Spring trail is open only two days a year. There are also many wild cave tour opportunities, ranging in difficulties from walking to crawling.
