[edit] Coming soon
In late 2005, Feldman Mall Properties presented their initial plans for the overhaul of Colonie Center to the Colonie Town Board; these plans met with approval in February 2006. Prior to the full approval, several other changes had been approved as well. These other changes will comprise the first phase of the mall's overhaul, which will include the following:
- A two-story fireplace (to be operational by fall 2006)
- Barnes & Noble, replacing current location opposite the mall (slated for April 2007)
- P.F. Chang's China Bistro (slated for 2007)
- 14-screen Regal Cinema on a new third level over the food court (slated for 2007)
- L.L. Bean (slated for early 2008)
- Cheesecake Factory (opened in 2006)
[edit] Trivia
- The mall's Christmas Tree Shops store is that chain's first store outside of New England.
- Similarly, the proposed L.L. Bean store will be that chain's first location in New York State.
