[edit] History

A retired colonel of the British and French Army, Bellian lived his life in a militaristic way, perhaps due to have been mentored by the fanatical Colonel Simon Killian. Even when it came to his family, he had a militaristic view on life. In 1993, his adoptive daughter Lori was raped by a young man in the Paris suburbs. Enraged by his daughter's rape, he sought the boy out and found out he was Mark Rothwood, son of British aristocrat Allan Rothwood. Curiously, Allan was Tessa Noël's childhood friend and along with Duncan MacLeod and Richie Ryan went to visit him at his mansion. During their visit, Duncan sensed Bellian's presence and went outside. Bellian intended to kill Mark for raping her daughter. Duncan tried to talk Bellian out of it, but Bellian went away and soon laid siege to the house with a group of commandos, locking Duncan and company in until the boy got what was coming to him. The commandos cut the electricity, so the group was unable to call for help. Even with all his military skills, Bellian was unsuccessful, as Duncan thwarted each one of his commandos' assaults. That is, until the boy and his father tried to escape on their own. As they did, they were chased after by Duncan, who was trying to save them. When Allan was shot, and brought back to house, requiring immediate assistance, Duncan sought out Bellian. When he found Bellian, the two fought but. Duncan came out the victor but, at Lori's request, who had come to persuade her father to stop the siege, spared Bellian. Bellian, then, realized he should have been a father not an avenging soldier. At the same time Mark gained courage and tried to escape the property to seek help. He encountered Bellian, Lori and Duncan and, as Lori laid eyes on Mark, she took a gun and killed thus avenging his evil doing. As the police came, Bellian and Lori had already escaped, restarting their lifes as fugitives of the law. Till this day, they are still at large, but Bellian's attitude with Lori has most probably changed for the better.
