Collipulli is a commune of Chile, the Province of Malleco in IX the Region of Araucanía.Integra with Angol, Renaico, Lumaco, the Willows, Purén, Ercilla and Traiguén the Electoral District N° 48 and belongs to 14ª Senatorial Circumscription (Araucanía norte).La city of Collipulli was founded like a strong military man day22 November of 1867, of which today they are not left tracks. Was prote'ge' by pits and stakes of wood, and was supported by a series of bridges that were layings on the Malleco river and its affluents. Also, other forts were based on the sector, between which they were: Huenquén, Cancura, Lolenco, Chiguaihue, Perasco and Curaco. All this fortification process was accompanied by the installation of colonos, that were dedicated to agriculture in the environs of fortificaciones.En them as much, in the history of Collipulli also marks to a landmark the construction of the Viaduct of the Malleco, and its official inauguration 26 October 1890 on the part of the then President of the Republic, Manuel Balmaceda. From that Collipulli date and the Region counted on a fast and effective locomotion for the commerce, today declared main Nacional.Los Monument economic sectors of the commune are associate to the agricultural, forest activity and the services. In this sense, although the grounds with agricultural capacity of use predominate, the forest activity has been gaining space in the last years.
