Collectables Records was a record label founded in 1981 by Jerry Greene, who had previously been associated with Lost Nite Records and both New York's Times Square Record Shop and Philadelphia's Record Museum record store chains.
With a catalog of over 2,500 active titles on compact disc, and thousands more available on vinyl, Collectables Records is the largest independently-owned (and family-operated) reissue record label in the United States. Collectables embraces a vast array of artists from almost every musical genre.
Collectables has released hundreds of classic recordings from the vaults of Columbia, Atlantic, RCA, Capitol, Vee-Jay and others - most available for the first time on CD. Genres found on Collectables include nearly every style of rock music, plus jazz, comedy, blues, doo-wop, funk, and many others.
