Colin Ronan

Colin A. Ronan (1920-1995), was an author and specialist in the history and philosophy of science. He published works i.a. on archeoastronomy in East Asia.
He played key roles in the administration of the British Astronomical Association and was its former President and editor of its journal.
Ronan had an asteroid named in honor of his achievements: 4024 Ronan is belonging to the Floras family, discovered by E. Bowell November 24, 1981 at Anderson Mesa.
