Colin Ferguson (born July 22, 1972) is a Canadian actor. He was born in Montreal and is a graduate of Appleby College in Oakville, Ontario and McGill University in Montreal.
Ferguson was a member of the Montreal improv group On The Spot, as well as a founding member of The Second City, Detroit. He has been cast in many TV series as well as movies. He currently stars as the lead in Eureka, a quirky Sci-Fi channel series that began broadcasting in 2006.
Although born in Canada, he recently became an American citizen.[citation needed]

Although they share the same name, Ferguson is NOT related to the Jamaican gunman who opened fire on the Long Island Rail Road in 1993. That Colin Ferguson has been in Attica State Prison since the shootings.
