Colette Marie Trudeau

Colette Marie Trudeau (b. June 17, 1985) is a Canadian rock musician who has performed over 150 shows, recorded two full-length albums and four music videos, and co-written a hit single.

Performing since the age of 8, at 13 she formed the all-girl rock band LiveonRelease that signed to Bif Naked's Her Royal Majesty's Records, distributed through Warner Music Canada. As lead singer, Trudeau toured North America extensively for three years supporting two CDs, while the band's videos received heavy rotation on MuchMusic.

In summer 2003, at the age of 17, Trudeau left Live on Release to write her own song lyrics and pursue a solo career. She quickly signed a production deal with Banana Toons Productions.
