Cold War liberal

Cold War liberal was a term most commonly used in the United States during the Cold War to describe politicians who, despite their generally liberal outlook on domestic issues, were supportive of hard-line anti-Soviet policies. Notable Cold War liberals include Harry Truman and Carl Albert.
