The Col de la Bonette, elevation 2802 m, is considered the highest paved road (end-to end, non-dead end) of the Alps, located in the French part of the Maritime Alps, near the border with Italy.
It is not leading over a pass, being only a scenic route which makes a turn around the Cime de la Bonette (2860 m) as an extension from Col de Restefond (2680 m).
