COLUMBUS II (cable system)

COLUMBUS II is an optical transatlantic telephone cable which connects the United States with the U.S. Virgin Islands, Mexico, the Canary Islands Spain, Madeira Island (Portugal) and Italy. It entered into commercial service in 1994.
