Coelamon is a fictional character from the Digimon franchise, a Digimon that resembles the Coelacanth, one of the most ancient species of fish.

Joe and Cody traveled to Australia where they met Derek, whose partner was Crabmon. Crabmon Digivolved to Coelamon to help Ikkakumon and Submarimon fight a Scorpiomon and several other aquatic Digimon, which were all guarding a Control Spire. After the battle he easily destroyed the Control Spire.

A Coelamon bridged the gap between two sections of File Island, then joined the city and set up shop in File Town. Once the shop becomes more established, he moves to the Centaur Clinic to give advice about trainer points.

  • In the English dub his name was pronouced "Koe-El-a-Mon." The correct proununciation of his name is "See-la-mon," as the "coela" in Coelacanth is pronounced.
