[edit] Senna covesii

Hi Codiferous - thought I'd let you know, this species is now classified as Senna covesii, not Cassia covesii, so I've moved the page there (and also added some extra info). If you're interested, a very useful resource for info on Calif plants is the Jepson Flora; to find any species page there, just add the scientific name (with a plus sign or space [URL-coded %20 ] between genus and species) at the end of the URL, e.g.: http://ucjeps.berkeley.edu/cgi-bin/get_JM_treatment.pl?Senna+covesii - MPF 10:37, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Great, thanks for the Jepson link. Codiferous 22:39, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Albizia saman vs Samanea saman

I was just curious about why you had decided to go with Samanea on that. The most recent revision I am aware of put it in Albizia. What source are you working off of, and why? Thanks. Guettarda 03:36, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

No particular source, just my knowledge of flora picked up from other botanists in the field. If its placement has been revised by all means update it. If you have a source that would be excellent as well. --Codiferous 21:23, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
