Cockerton

Cockerton is a village in County Durham, in England. It is situated immediately to the north-west of Darlington, close to Mowden, Branksome, and Faverdale. The Cocker Beck runs through it and finishes at River Skerne. It has shops which include Somerfield, Food Co, and Cockerton Fisheries. Also cockerton cricket club is based there. It is extremely close to Branksome, an outer suburb of Darlington.
