I wonder whether this should be the title for the article, as it certainly isn't a "coat of arms". It's not on a shield (and the grain isn't heraldically rye...). --Daniel C. Boyer 19:59, 28 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Please change the name of the article to Coat of arms of the GDR (or German Democratic Republic), because "East Germany" is definitely wrong! N3MO 28 Feb 19:14 (Ger)
