Coat of arms of the Kyrgyz SSR

The coat of arms of the Kyrgyz SSR was adopted on March 23, 1937 by the government of the Kyrgyz SSR. The red star was added in 1948. The emblem was changed in 1992 to the present Kyrgyzstan coat of arms.
