Coach (basketball)

Basketball Coaching is the act of directing and strategizing the behaviour of a basketball team or individual basketball player. Basketball coaching typically encompasses the improvement of individual and team offensive and defensive skills, as well as overall physical conditioning.
Coaching is usually performed by a single person, often with the help of one or more assistants.

The team is made up from five players, two post players (main job to catch rebounds, short shots, inc layups and be ready for fast break.) Two gaurds (takeing furtherout shots, and assisting both post players and ball carrier.) Then there is the ball carrier (there main part is to 'carry' the ball down the court in order for the team to shoot.) Mrs. Vicki Cooper is quoted as saying,"You will miss 100% of the shots you don't take." Cooper is considered the best female basketball coach of all time.
