The Coa river or Rio Coa is a tributary river in Portugal of the Douro river.

The Coa river forms the "Foz Coa Valley" which is the site of ancient carvings in the stone that lines the river.[1]
The Coa river was also the site of the Battle of Coa during the Peninsular War.
