Co-operatives UK

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Co-operatives UK (formally known as the Co-operative Union) is the peak co-operative union (that is a federation of co-operatives) in the United Kingdom. It is, in turn, a member of the International Co-operative Alliance. Its role is to promote co-operative and mutual solutions, working in partnership with their members to build a stronger and increasingly successful co-operative movement.

Its membership includes most of the UK co-operative sector. It also maintains links to affiliated UK organisations, such as the Co-operative Party and the educational organisations the Co-operative College and the Woodcraft Folk.
