A Co-Co is in UIC classification a locomotive with two six-wheeled bogies with all axles powered, with a separate motor per axle. Co-Cos are most suited to freight work as the extra wheels give them good adhesion.

Examples include the "Asia Runner" manufactured by Siemens AG for the Asian and African rail networks.

See category:Co-Co locomotives for examples of this type.
