CNMG TV is the television arm of the Caribbean New Media Group, a state-run media company in Trinidad and Tobago. In 2006 the station began a limited test broadcast on channel 13 in North Trinidad and on channel 6 on the Columbus Communications (now renamed Flow Trinidad & Tobago[1]) cable system. By mid-August the station will expand its transmission on Channel 9 to serve parts of Central and South Trinidad and complete service to Tobago. By November 2006, channel 9 broadcast service was available in North-West Trinidad. CNMG Television broadcasts from studios at 11A Maraval Road, Port-of-Spain, which was the home of Trinidad and Tobago Television.

During the initial test period, programing will consist of a four-hour block starting at 6pm with hourly news updates until 10pm (The station has recently expanded their sechedule to start from 5pm). The schedule consists of both local and US television programmes. The official launch of the station is scheduled for September 24th, 2006, when a complete schedule will commence. The station features new local entertainment programmes such as We Reach, showcasing Trinidad and Tobago citizens and cultural penetration at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, and a new talent series entitled 52 Nights.
