CMP Media LLC is a business-to-business multimedia company that provides information and integrated marketing services to technology and healthcare professionals worldwide. CMP Media claims to offer marketers and advertisers comprehensive media solutions. Its products and services include newspapers, magazines, Internet products, research, education and training, trade shows and conferences, direct marketing services and custom publishing.

Gerard "Gerry" Leeds founded the company in 1971, with his wife, Lilo. Their sons Michael and Daniel took over the firm in 1988. It was sold to Miller Freeman in 1999. In 2000 the owner's mergered the IT portion of Miller Freeman into CMP and then changed the name of the parent company to United Business Media plc.

Headquartered in Manhasset, NY, today CMP Media is part of United Business Media plc, a market information group in the markets of professional media and news distribution.

CMP Media is the owner of the USPTO Service Mark 'WEB 2.0'.
