Hi, did you take the image Panoramica2 p.jpg by yourself? You have stated that the image is copied from a website, but you've put a GFDL tag on it. If that's the case, then you can't license other people's works under the GFDL. The image might have to be removed. See Wikipedia:Copyrights. –Mysid 11:43, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image licenses

Cloretti, all of the images you have added to São José dos Campos were tagged as GFDL, but were described as coming from the city's web site and that they are available "for educational use". This kind of limitation is not compatible with the GFDL. I have changed these images to have the {{no license}} tag. Hi Chris,

Please offer me a solution concerning the problems of pictures of Sao Jose. I contacted city hall and have email from them authorizing me to use pictures.

If I cannot use GFDL offer me please appropriate tag. It is not a solution to leave pictures with no tag. The claerly stated that I had authorization to use pictures just with the disclaimer " For educational purposes only". please offer me a solution for pictures.

I do not know what to do.

Cloretti, I think these images are not generally usable on Wikipedia because the license does not grant the necessary freedoms (see free content for more information). The {{permission}} template would apply, but note that it says that any recent images will be deleted. This is because they are not sufficiently free. My best suggestion is that you take some original photographs yourself for contribution under a free license. Alternatively, you may claim fair use under U.S. Copyright Law. Note that you have to provide a fair use rationale and meet the qualifications outlined. See Wikipedia:Fair use and Wikipedia:Image use policy for more information.
