Cloyd Boyer

Cloyd Victor Boyer, Jr. (born September 1, 1927, in Alba, Missouri) was a major league right-handed pitcher, with a career record of 20 wins, 23 losses, 2 saves, and a 4.73 ERA. He pitched for the St. Louis Cardinals (1949-1952) and the Kansas City Athletics (1954). His younger brothers Ken and Clete, both third basemen known for their defensive prowess, were also major leaguers.
