Cloughmore known locally as "The Big Stone" or "The Cloughmore Stone", is a huge granite boulder (approximately 30 tons in weight), an erratic, which was probably transported from Scotland and deposited by retreating ice during the last Ice Age. It rests about 1,000 feet above the village of Rostrevor, Northern Ireland, on a relatively flat area on the side of the mountain Slieve Martin known as "Fiddler's Green".
