Clinton Riggs

Clinton E. Riggs (July 15, 1910May 22, 1997) was a Tulsa police officer who invented the first Yield sign. He also designed the Tulsa, Oklahoma Police Department's shoulder patch after the original yield sign. He retired from the Tulsa Police Department in 1970 after 36 years of service.
